Super Human Powers

If you could have any super power, what would it be? Would you want to be able to fly, be able to know someone's every thoughts, have x-ray vision, be invisible? Would you want your super power to be a healthier person, a happier person, less stressed, have more energy? You could have all of this with the power of gratitude.

#gratefulfor2015
If you can recall, I opted to not make any New Year's Resolutions for 2015. Rather, I made a list of some reminders to push myself in the right direction. The direction that I want my life to go. A few of these reminders include being gracious and humble, laugh and love, enjoy nature, and be myself.

I am participating in a Gratitude Challenge for February in hopes to bring these reminders for 2015 to the forefront of my thoughts. I will challenge myself each day to compile my thoughts and feelings as to why I am grateful. I will also participate in the daily questions or prompts that are provided in the Gratitude Challenge.

Yesterday's prompt was why I accepted the challenge and what I hope to gain. I want my life to head in a particular direction and I think I can achieve this with positive thoughts. Research shows many positive effects to positive thinking and the power of gratitude.

One source states that having a grateful outlook could result in;

- Feeling better about your life as a whole
- Getting sick less
- Leads to more frequent exercising
- Having more energy and focus
- Sleeping better
- Experiencing less stress
And so much more great things.

Do you keep a gratitude journal or do you reflect about the positives in your life? How has it changed your daily outlook on life?
