I love coffee and I love indulging in a couple Starbucks coffees here and there.
But you know how quickly it can add up when you pull through the drive thru to order that soy caramel macchiato. Now I have the solution.
And you may have been wondering how in the hell I managed to get a free drink.
Maybe a gift card? Maybe someone bought it for me?
Maybe they had a mistake drink sitting to the side.
None of those are correct. I get free Starbucks from watching tv.
Yup! I get to watch my awful, mindless reality tv shows and then get rewarded with free Starbucks money. Not only can you get money towards Starbucks but also to Chili's, Sephora, Old Navy, Barnes and Noble, and so on. It's pretty amazing.
The app I use is Viggle. It is absolutely free to sign up, free to check-in to tv shows, and free overall.
All you have to do it create an account, turn the tv on and press the 'check-in' button. The app will listen to what you are watching and select the proper show for you. Then you get to reap one point for each minute you watch. Bonus, primetime shows usually give extra points just for checking in.
